Ill See You Again Someday Lyrics

"Oh, my friend, do you have ones shut to you who have taken their journey to heaven?     They are condom with the Lord, God's Word is truthful – can't yous hear your loved one say?  I'll see you again, I'll run across you again, I'll see you in glory someday.          For now, it's goodbye- don't sorrow or sigh –  I'll see y'all in celebrity someday."

I start heard this song sung years agone by Ray Hart – following the testimony of John R Rice. At that place are three verses to the song, with this 1 being the last one. The start poesy talked about John R Rice's mom. She had passed away when he was a young child.  The second verse talked almost our Lord leaving the disciples and ascending  to heaven – letting them know that He would run into them again anytime.  But, this terminal verse became special to me at the age of 12 years erstwhile, and has became special a few times over again since that fourth dimension.

When I was 11 years former, my sister went dwelling to exist with the Lord – God chose to have her to heaven at the age of ii one/2 months sometime. That was my outset encounter with a close family unit member dying.  Near ii and a half years agone, my grandmother went on to glory, also.  She was a very special lady to and then many – In so many ways, everyone that was a part of her family, has her to be thankful for. (Her story can be read in a previous mail service)

But simply recently, three weeks ago yesterday, sky gained another great man.  Vic Sinz, my father-in-law – known to us all as 'Papa,' "went domicile".  Papa had been in and out of the hospital a lot over the previous six months – it seemed every bit if there was always something unlike going incorrect, and doctors were puzzled.  But ane thing was for sure – Papa ever wanted to go home.

In the summer of 1975, a man stopped by the Sinz firm to invite three little kids to Vacation Bible School. The parents agreed to let them attend VBS at Whitestown Road Baptist Church  (a Southern Baptist Church). But, the man that invited them to VBS did non stop in that location. He continued to end past and visit – Papa would endeavor to hide from him or make him recall they weren't there.  In one case, the family came domicile from town to find this man knocking at their door – Papa drove around the block until he left ☺ Just this homo, John Stair, did non surrender. John continued to visit – and his persistence paid off.  In December of 1975, Papa and his wife, "Mimi", trusted Christ every bit their Savior.

Papa immediately turned from the lifestyle that he was living for the devil, and started living a life for the Lord. He was concerned virtually the Salvation of his children. His merely son, Scott, trusted Christ as his personal Savior in Oct of 1976, at the age of five years former. I am thankful to God for this – As this is the homo that God would have me to marry anytime.

Papa'south witnessing for the Lord did not finish in that location. He was always passing out tracts and telling others about Christ. At the ARMCO Steel Manufacturing plant, where he worked until he retired, he was known as the "Preacher".  Fifty-fifty, as he lay in the hospital, he was passing out tracts and telling others almost Jesus' dearest for them. In fact, when his pastor went up to the hospital, the 24-hour interval that he passed abroad, the nurses came upward to Pastor Ward and handed him Papa'so Bible and said: "Nosotros want to brand sure that the family unit gets this. We know how special it was to him. And, we put all of his 'little Bibles' in the front of his Bible." Papa was all of the nurse's and doctor's favorite patient.  He was kind and very appreciative for all they did for him. They loved him – they all cried when he passed. Papa lived his life in a way that was pleasing and honoring to the Lord, first and foremost.

Secondly, Papa loved his wife very much. He always took extra special care of her. Their love never concluded. They were married for 56 years – because of the Lord, they were able to have a loving marriage.

Thirdly, he loved his children. My hubby has soooooo many memories with his dad. Whether it was hunting together, building things with wood, or shooting bows and guns – there was a lot of time spent together. My husband has a lot of adept memories that will terminal for many years to come.

Lastly, Papa loved each and every one of his grandchildren. He prayed for them all and taught them each and so much with the time that he spent with them. Whether it was skeet shooting, making whirly gigs, shooting bows, playing puddle in the basement, fishing out in their boat on Lake Arthur, having picnics, going to the park, riding bikes, roasting marshmallows in the backyard, and on and on I could go – he loved his grandchildren. And each i of them have some very special memories that they volition always treasure in their hearts forever.

A twenty-four hour period or ii before Papa went to Glory, he told Pastor Ward – "Pastor, if I dice, tell anybody that I 'went home'."  Papa is "Home" at present. We sure exercise miss him, but we are all thankful that we KNOW that we will meet him once more someday.

I'll encounter you once more, I'll meet you once again, I'll see you in celebrity someday.  For now, it's goodbye, don't sorrow or sigh, I'll see you in glory anytime.

I woke this morning with this song on my mind, and I thought I would share this with you. I promise it is an encouragement to you in ane way or another. If it is, please let me know how it was a approving or encouragement to you.

I am blessed beyond what I deserve. God has given me a wonderful husband and four children who love the Lord. God has placed us in the beautiful state of Idaho where my hubby, Scott, is the pastor of Mount Valley Baptist Church. The purpose of my page is to honor and glorify God and encourage others in their walk with God. View all posts past mountainvalleytimesblog
