Many people are wondering why there are many QR codes around. You see that square barcode that looks like a monochromatic artwork posted on brochures, posters, or even advertisements. Yet, you ask what is behind all those quirky forms.

Quick Response codes or also known as QR codes are barcodes compressed with a lot of information based on what the creator wants to include in them. You may not see it right there on the QR codes, but it will take you to the location or website where you can find the data.

For instance, an online retailer can add a QR code on its promo poster that will take its customers to the store's website and check out the mechanics there. Instead of cramping all the information in one place, the QR code will serve as a connector to added information. All you have to do is scan the QR code using your mobile device to access the data provided.
